A.B. Candidate in Chemistry, Princeton University (Princeton, NJ), 2019
Conor O’Brien was born in Alexandria, Virginia, after which he and his family promptly moved to Dublin, Ireland, where he was raised and educated. He is currently a senior in the Princeton Chemistry Department pursuing certificates in both French and Linguistics. Conor first began working with the Bocarsly Lab in the summer of 2016, where his research has remained focused on the alloy-catalyzed reduction of CO2 to higher-order products using different solid supports, as well as the use of microscopy to visualize these reduction events. When not in lab, Conor is a member of the Princeton University Band and the club squash team, and he is currently the president of the Princeton Charter Club, one of the 11 eating clubs on campus.
